Wife went out shopping with friends, so as soon as the boys were down I went to work on the Cherokee (not pictured).

Kinja'd!!!

Filled the AC.

Installed the new fan shroud.

Rehung the exhaust

Pulled the rear driveshaft to grease the slip joint, snapping one of the yoke strap bolts in the process. I figured that was a possibility, so I bought u-bolts in advance. Boom. Drilled out the yoke, dropped in the HELP 81004's. While the shaft was out I took the opportunity to sand off the incredible amount of dirt and rust flaking off, rubbed it with some acetone, then rattle canned a hammered finish over the top.

All in all a great night, a solid 2.5hrs, and the only problem was the one I had anticipated.

That’s awesome. I would love to work on my truck so easily, but everything is so rusty (my skills included) that the backup plan for most jobs includes drilling out all the bolts and then just giving up.

I am going to attempt to pull my skid plates and un-bend them a bit. They’ve not even been on a year, so the bolts shouldn’t be too bad. I’ll have a new set of hardware and if necessary, everything gets replaced.

Sounds like you’re like me and can only go work on your projects when no one else is around, lest you get a guilt trip from the mrs.
